From orchard to jar, under one roof.
Podo is the fruit brand of Bio Food (Hebei) Industry Co., Ltd. We grow with partner orchards, freeze and pulp the fruit ourselves, cook and fill it on our own line, and ship it from our own cold store.
The orchards
Peach, apricot, apple and pear come from growers around our factory in Xingtai; berries come from partner farms in China and selected origins abroad. Every lot is tagged with its orchard and harvest date.
Where our fruit comes from
Five origins, one cold chain.
Stone fruit and pome fruit grow around the factory. Berries come from partner farms in northern China and from the origins that grow them best. Every lot is frozen at origin and tracked from intake to your warehouse.

The line
An Italian turbine cold-pulping line breaks the fruit at low temperature and removes skins and seeds, keeping the colour and aroma that cooking would take away. Jams with pieces are cooked under vacuum, then pasteurised and filled aseptically.
The cold chain
Our own cold store runs from −45 °C blast freezing to +15 °C finished-goods storage, so fruit is frozen within hours of intake and stays that way until it leaves.
The people
Our technologists have spent years supplying dairy and bakery makers in China. They now work with customers in North America and Europe on trials and first orders.
